Description
Sustainable 100% natural rheological additive derived from lemon peels waste following up-cycling beauty. Extremely versatile and with high compatibility, it can be added with both cold and hot process to the formulation. It allows to create very particular and sensorially pleasant textures, giving a dry, soft and enveloping touch.
Being a powder and specifically from lemon peel, it also confer a mattifying effect, helping minimize pores and even out skin texture.
Origin
Obtained from lemon peel wasted from food industry, through an up-cycling process.
Applications
- Suitable for both haircare and skincare products (leave-on and rinse-off), conferring also excellent sensoriality
- It is compatible with the majority of cosmetic ingredients and can be used as a rheological agent in emulsions, gels, rinse-off formulations and suncare.
- Confers a range of viscosity between 300 and 22.000 mPa·s (based on basic gel with growing % of Up-Citrus Rheo)
- Allows to create both classic formulations and more innovative textures like slushy, sorbet and mousse
